Week 6 Guillotine FAAB: Who Got Chopped and What We'd Bid
By Patrick · Survive The Chop ·
Kenneth Walker and Bijan Robinson are the two players we'd target this week. If either one hit your waiver wire, we'd bid 18–22% of your starting budget on him.
Expect both to go for a lot more than that. Last week, Jahmyr Gibbs sold for a median of 72% of a starting budget. So for each player, the bid guide shows what he's worth to your team and what it will likely take to win him.
We're sticking with our numbers. Your budget still has to last through a lot more cuts. You don't need to win every auction to build the best team.
Week 6 bid guide
Both numbers are a percentage of your starting FAAB budget. On a $1,000 budget, 15% is $150. We assume PPR scoring and one starting quarterback.
| Player | Our bid | Likely winning price | Best fit |
|---|---|---|---|
| Kenneth Walker | 18–22% | about 60% | An RB1 you can start every week |
| Bijan Robinson | 18–22% | about 60% | An RB1 you can start every week |
| CeeDee Lamb | 15–18% | about 35% | A WR1 if his quad bruise is minor |
| Jonathan Taylor | 12–15% | about 50% | A starting running back |
| Chris Olave | 12–15% | about 40% | A starting receiver |
| Nico Collins | 10–12% | about 20% | A starting receiver |
| Chuba Hubbard | 8–10% | about 30% | A starting running back |
| Ashton Jeanty | 8–10% | about 45% | A starting running back |
| Amon-Ra St. Brown | 8–10% | about 50% | A WR1 after Detroit's Week 6 bye |
| Tetairoa McMillan | 6–8% | about 20% | A starting receiver |
| Saquon Barkley | 5–8% | about 10% | Running back help once his hamstring heals |
| George Kittle | 4–6% | about 25% | The most reliable tight end here |
Go toward the top of a range if you're close to the chopping block. Stay near the bottom if your lineup is safe. Set a total before you enter several claims.
Waiver bids are blind, and not every league has a big spender. So bid your number even when the likely price is much higher. If it lands, you got a starter at a good price. If it doesn't, your FAAB plan can show you cheaper players who fill the same spot.
Where the likely prices come from. Our weekly FAAB price report shows what winners actually paid for last week's chopped players. Taylor, Olave, Jeanty, St. Brown, Kittle and Barkley all sold last week, so their likely price comes straight from that report. For everyone else, it's the app's market estimate for a player at the same position and rank.

Kenneth Walker and Bijan Robinson: our top targets
Our bids: 18–22% each · Likely winning price: about 60% each · Rest-of-season ranks: RB1 and RB3
Walker is our top running back for the rest of the season. We project 19.7 PPR points this week. He ran 22 times for 177 yards and 2 touchdowns in Week 4, then had a bye in Week 5.
Robinson is close behind in our ranks. We project 19.8 PPR points this week. He ran for 145 yards and 2 touchdowns in Week 4. In Week 5, he played 81% of Atlanta's snaps and had 17 carries and 7 targets.
Both get our biggest range this week. Their likely price is the highest in this guide too.
CeeDee Lamb: check the quad
Our bid: 15–18% · Likely winning price: about 35% · Rest-of-season rank: WR5
Lamb was chopped in 16.9% of our sample, second only to David Montgomery. He bruised his quad on Thursday night against Tampa Bay, and early reports called it minor. RotoBaller. Sleeper lists him as questionable.
He had 21 targets and 189 yards in Week 4. We project 18.8 PPR points this week.
Last week, top receivers sold above the market estimate. Jaxon Smith-Njigba went for 62%.
Jonathan Taylor and Chris Olave: sold high last week
Our bids: 12–15% each · Likely winning prices: about 50% and 40% · Rest-of-season ranks: RB5 and WR7
Taylor had 15 carries and 4 targets in Week 5 and played 73% of Indianapolis's snaps. We project 18.5 PPR points this week. He sold for 51% last week.
Olave had 12 targets and 116 yards in Week 4. In Week 5, he played 91% of New Orleans's snaps. We project 18.2 PPR points this week. He sold for 38% last week.
Nico Collins is a step below, at 10–12%. He scored 30.8 PPR points in Week 4 and played 71% of Houston's snaps in Week 5.
Running backs: Hubbard and Jeanty
Our bids: 8–10% each · Likely winning prices: about 30% and 45% · Rest-of-season ranks: RB8 and RB11
Chuba Hubbard ran 20 times for 122 yards and 2 touchdowns in Week 4, then had a bye. Ashton Jeanty had 18.6 PPR points in Week 4 and 10.7 in Week 5. We project 14.6 PPR points for Hubbard and 15.6 for Jeanty this week.
Jeanty sold for 44% last week.
On bye this week: St. Brown and the Bengals
Detroit, Cincinnati, Miami and Minnesota are on bye in Week 6. A player you claim from those teams won't score for you this week.
Amon-Ra St. Brown is still our WR4 for the rest of the season. He had 11 targets in each of his last 2 games. We'd bid 8–10%. That's lower than his rank suggests, because he can't help you this week. He sold for 50% last week.
Chase Brown and Tee Higgins were also chopped. Brown sold for 35% last week. Only bid on bye-week players if your lineup is safe this week.
Tight ends: Kittle first
Our bid: 4–6% · Likely winning price: about 25% · Rest-of-season rank: TE3
George Kittle played 92% of San Francisco's snaps in Week 5. We project 15.3 PPR points this week. He sold for 23% last week.
Harold Fannin was chopped in 13.0% of our sample, and Colston Loveland in 9.9%. Both sold for 7% last week. Go toward the top of a range only if tight end is your weakest spot.
Injuries to check before you bid
David Montgomery was chopped more than any player, in 18.0% of our sample. He left Sunday's game against Tennessee with a groin injury, and Houston hasn't given a timetable. RotoBaller. We rank him RB36 for the rest of the season, so keep any bid to 1% or less.
Saquon Barkley (hamstring) is still listed out. We rank him RB15 for the rest of the season and would bid 5–8%. He sold for 11% last week.
Rashee Rice is listed questionable with a hamstring injury. He sold for 7% last week. Breece Hall (quadriceps), TreVeyon Henderson (ankle) and T.J. Hockenson (concussion) are listed out.
Quarterbacks: keep it small
In a one-QB league, keep quarterback bids small unless your starter is hurt. The upgrade over your current starter is usually small.
Patrick Mahomes was chopped in about 1 in 9 leagues. He's our QB2 for the rest of the season, and we'd bid 3–5%. He sold for 5% last week.
Tyler Shough and Jalen Hurts were each chopped in about 1 in 7 leagues. Keep them to about 1%. Hurts sold for 2% last week.
In Superflex, quarterbacks are starters and worth more.
It's still early
In 2025 guillotine leagues, teams that kept most of their FAAB through the first few weeks won their league more often than teams that spent it fast. Early prices are also the highest of the year. We go through the numbers in Why our FAAB bids look low.

About these recommendations
Ranks and projections use our October 13 Week 6 PPR update. Our bid ranges are editorial recommendations informed by FAAB Insights, not universal limits. Check current injuries, league settings and your combined spending before placing claims.
Likely winning prices describe what other managers may pay, not what we recommend. They are estimates, not guarantees. Where a player appears in last week's price report, we use his median winning bid there. Otherwise we use the app's market estimate, built from 2025 FAAB prices for players at the same position and rank, for an 18-team league with 13 teams left. In Week 5, the estimate ran low for the top players: Gibbs and Smith-Njigba sold for 72% and 62%, against estimates of about 60% and 45%.
Cut percentages come from completed Sleeper chop transactions that we matched to the lowest Week 5 score among teams still active and to a cleared roster. Leagues with more than 18 teams, more than one chop this week, or no completed release are excluded, as are leagues whose cut had not processed when we collected the sample. This is a sample of leagues that use our app, not a Sleeper-wide rate.
Snap counts, targets and box-score lines come from Sleeper's public game stats. Injury designations are the ones listed on Sleeper as of Tuesday, plus the reports linked above.
