Terms of Service - Survive The Chop

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Survive the Chop ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our Service.

2. Description of Service

Survive the Chop provides fantasy football analytics and recommendations for guillotine leagues. Our Service includes FAAB bidding recommendations, survival analysis, lineup optimization, and other features designed to assist with fantasy football decision-making.

Disclaimer: Our recommendations are based on algorithms and historical data. We do not guarantee any specific outcomes or winnings. Fantasy sports involve risk and chance.

3. Account Registration

To use our Service, you must:

Be at least 18 years old
Provide accurate and complete registration information
Maintain the security of your account credentials
Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use
Accept responsibility for all activities under your account

4. Subscription and Payment

4.1 Free Access

2026 Free Access: Accounts created before the 2026 NFL kickoff (September 10, 2026) receive free access through September 16, 2026 — the end of Week 1 waivers. Accounts created on or after kickoff receive at least seven days of free access; the exact end date of your free period is always shown at signup and on your account page. No credit card or payment method is required for free access, and you will not be charged automatically at any point. Continuing with paid features after your free period requires deliberately choosing a plan and completing checkout.

4.2 Subscription Plans

After free access ends, you may choose from:

Weekly Pass: $3.49 per week (auto-renewing subscription that begins only after you deliberately complete checkout)
Season Pass: a one-time payment at the then-current price displayed at checkout (the price steps down as the season progresses; access through Week 18)

4.3 Automatic Renewal

Only the Weekly Pass renews automatically, and only after you have deliberately started it through checkout. It renews until cancelled before the renewal date; you can cancel anytime through your account settings. The Season Pass is a single one-time charge and never renews. Free access never converts into a paid plan automatically.

4.4 Refunds

We offer refunds at our discretion on a case-by-case basis. Contact support@survivethechop.com within 7 days of charge to request a refund.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Share your account with others
Use the Service for any illegal purpose
Attempt to reverse engineer our algorithms
Scrape or harvest data from our Service
Interfere with or disrupt the Service
Violate any applicable laws or regulations
Use the Service for commercial purposes without permission

6. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of the Service are owned by Survive the Chop and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written permission.

7. Third-Party Services

Our Service integrates with Sleeper for league data access. Your use of Sleeper is subject to their terms of service. We are not responsible for any issues arising from third-party services.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE. WE SPECIFICALLY DISCLAIM ANY WARRANTIES REGARDING THE ACCURACY OR RELIABILITY OF OUR RECOMMENDATIONS.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SURVIVE THE CHOP SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOST PROFITS, LOST DATA, OR LOSS OF GOODWILL. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE PAST 12 MONTHS.

Fantasy Sports Disclaimer: We are not responsible for any losses in your fantasy leagues. Our Service provides recommendations only, and outcomes depend on many factors beyond our control.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Survive the Chop from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

11. Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms or for any other reason at our sole discretion. You may stop using the Service at any time and cancel any subscription through your account settings. To request deletion of your account and associated data, email support@survivethechop.com and we will process the request.

12. Modifications to Service

We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the Service at any time with or without notice. We shall not be liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuance.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any legal action or proceeding shall be brought exclusively in the federal or state courts.

14. Dispute Resolution

Any dispute arising from these Terms shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association. The arbitration shall be conducted in English and the arbitrator's decision shall be final and binding.

15. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary so that these Terms shall otherwise remain in full force and effect.

16. Entire Agreement

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Survive the Chop regarding the use of the Service, superseding any prior agreements.

17. Changes to Terms

We may revise these Terms at any time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the new Terms on this page and updating the "Effective Date." Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
